Clients PPI claim pays £15,091| How much is your PPI Claim worth?
Recently a client of the claims management company Money and Me Claims won £15,091.00 for their ppi claims that was won after a long hard battle that had to go to the financial Ombudsman for a final decision.
Money and Me Claims firstly submitted the claim to the company and after much debate the company did not uphold the complaint but this did not deter Money and Me Claims as they genuinely believed that their client has been missold their ppi policy so they decided to continue to pursue the case on the clients behalf to the Financial Ombudsman. Although by the company declining the initial complaint this did delay the decision for the client but just made the claims management company more determined in their plight for justice for the client.
The details were submitted to the Financial Ombudsman and because of the backlog they have the client had to wait longer than anticipated for the final decision but the Financial Ombudsman did assess the case in a very efficient manner and came to a decision quite quickly.
Unfortunatley for the client the company in question continued to drag their heels even in their communications with the Financial Ombudsman and used the maximum time they were allowed to deal with the decision but finally they awarded the client redress for being missold which was fantastic news for the client and the total monies the client was awarded is a staggering £15091.
The next bit of good news for the client was the fact that the claims management company Money and Me Claims only charged the client 15% success fee for their efforts not 25% like some other claims management companies, had the client used the services of a claims management company charging 25% plus Vat then the amount they got back would be considerably more.

£15,091.00 x 15% = £2,363.65 for using the services of a claims management firm charging 15% or
£15,091.00 x 25% = £3,772.75 plus 20% Vat = £754.55 total £4,527.30
So for ppi claims this could be the difference you pay depending on which claims management company you choose, so why pay almost 100% more of your award to any company that wants to charge you more than 15% success fee on your claims.
The difference is you are giving away a staggering £2163.65 of your money when there is no need to so you decide what you would prefer as the chances of success are no different whether you do it or employ the services of a claims management company to do it for you.
So if you would like to use a claims management company for your ppi claims then find one at 15% as you can see the difference this will make to what you get back, the choice is yours.
